This is a "flying" broomstick I designed and built, inspired by the brooms from Harry Potter. I started with some old redwood timber, cut the shape out with a jigsaw, and then rounded it with a hand plane, a rasp and a sander.  For the head of the broom, I carved a piece of foam, then wrapped it in reeds with brass straps to hold it all together. 

Potions

Over the years, I have made dozens of these potion bottles inspired by Harry Potter. Here are a few of my favorites. I love designing and aging the labels, and tinkering with different materials to create the potions inside.

Spaceship Intercom Panel

I created this damaged intercom panel for OSA's Out of This World haunted house. The setting was a space station where something has gone horribly wrong. It's made from an old toy and a circuit board and heavily weathered.
